Stéphane Grappelli

In september 1982, Jacques Chancel received in his TV show called "Le grand échiquier" the french jazz violonist Stéphane Grappelli, who founded with Django Reinhardt the "Quintette du Hot Club de France". As usual during this show, the principal guest had the opportunity to invite friends and to organize the program for more than three hours.

Aged of 74, Stéphane Grappelli decided, among others, to play a classic with one his preferred "students", the french violonist Didier Lockwood, the pianist Michel Legrand, Patrice Caratini (double bass) and Marc Fosset (accoustic guitar).

It gives three minutes of pure and light happiness and a young Didier Lockwood who really looks like Luke Skywalker.
